SPONSORSHIP - 2000 to 2010 Dear Executive - Oxygen For Life It is with pride and gratitude that we have been involved with OFL and had the benefit of world class products to support us. OFL has not only suppofted the club but provided product sponsorship to numerous club members competing at national and international level. Most definitely a significant contribution to their successes. LPCC is without a doubt the most successful club in the history of South African Track cycling. Probably the acid test is how good the performances have been. LPCC riders currently hold 21 SA Track records Our successes are as a direct result of the support shown by OFL and words cannot express the immense contribution not only to the individuals and the Club but to South African Cycling as well.

That same year I won the South African Body Building Championships.
Through all my hard work and training I have achieved great
results. However I must admit that I had a secret aid, Cellfood Sport.
When I found out about Cellfood Sport I began
taking it immediately. I enjoyed the fact that it was an
all natural product as the industry is very strict regarding
performance enhancing products. I benefited so much using Cellfood Sport that
people began asking questions and wondering what I was taking,
as I was performing at my peak. Many people thought I was
using something illegal. Cellfood Sport is
100% natural.

Jono Blake Oxygen, Carnitine and Exercise Introduction Aerobic metabolism and fat utilization There is no doubting the value of oxygen for our physiological
functioning as we are geared for ‘aerobic’metabolism. [It
should be remembered however that we do have an alternative ‘anaerobic’metabolic
pathway]. This applies to us at rest, as well as during
exercise. The determining factor as to which metabolic
pathway is the dominant one during exercise is the INTENSITY
of that exercise. As long as sufficient oxygen is available
at muscular level, energy is provided via the aerobic system. As
exercise intensity increases, it becomes more difficult for
cardiorespiratory dynamics to meet the increasing demand
for oxygen. Supplemental oxygen The oxygen in Cellfood® and Cellfood Sport is not present in molecular form, but is rather liberated by catalytic converters. Oxygen is present in NASCENT form. Oxygen is not a fuel –it is a catalyst in the aerobic pathway. This ensures that the pathway has its highest energy yield, with the most innocuous by-products. Fat metabolism Stored fat is broken down into Free Fatty Acids (FFA’s)
and glycerol which are taken up by the power houses (mitochondria)
of our cells to be converted into energy. In order to enter
the mitochondria, a carrier molecule is required. Carnitine
is such a carrier. This combination of nascent oxygen and
Carnitine provides an ideal physiological environment to
promote fat metabolism. Total supplementation In addition to the nascent oxygen and Carnitine, Cellfood® and Cellfood Sport provide all the micronutrients necessary for optimal supplementation. This makes these products unique in content and action. |
