I think this is a good result for 7 riders from the club!!!

Once again we stood out in performance and in our vibrant kit. The team spirit among the riders was absolutely awesome and the camaraderie superb

Of course all taken care of and managed by Aunty Di.

We had an equally good Provincials 3 weeks before SAs as well where I managed to break 3 SA records in the 50+ category

one of which broke the current 50+ World 500m Record set by Aussie Geoff Stoker in October last year. Unfortunately the record will only be ratified locally because the dope control didn't pitch and I wasn't tested

It just means I will have to repeat the feat in Manchester in October. Training has begun. The nice part is that if the Team sprint record at SAs is ratified along with the 3 at the Provincials I will currently hold 16 South African records which in itself is a South African Record

I've attached a pic of us in full flight in the SAs Team sprint. Sorry not the greatest quality but evidence none the less.

The Provincials was on home turf so more of our club riders 'podiumed' from the Little ones to the oldies like us. Once again LPCC and Cellfood dominating the steps.
